Complaint Resolution Case Handler

Salary: Grade A4 (£25,380-  30,951) + LGPS - All applicants will start on the lower end of the salary pay scale.

Position Type: Complaint Resolution Case Handler , Full time, 12 months fixed contract (possible option to extend)

Location: Based at Harpenden, Hertfordshire - Please note that no parking is available on site for interview or if successful with the role. There are local pay and display car parks nearby.

When David Lloyd was re-elected as Hertfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, his platform included a pledge to improve the service Hertfordshire Constabulary provides. This will be achieved by having oversight and initial handling of all complaints made by those who have come into contact with the police service in Hertfordshire. To help him deliver this, a Complaint Resolution Team was created and seeks to appoint experienced and dedicated Complaint Resolution Case Handlers to join our existing team.

These posts are instrumental in delivering a service improvement strategy supporting an effective and responsive approach to complaint handling within policing in Hertfordshire. The work carried out by this team enable individual and organisational learning opportunities to be identified and further improvements made to the service delivered by police in the county.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for those with a good understanding of delivering excellent service in a challenging and complex environment.
