Plan Consultation

The Police and Crime Plan is created and published by the PCC for Hertfordshire David Lloyd. Under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act (2011), the PCC must produce a Police and Crime Plan which sets out the strategic policing and crime priorities for Hertfordshire, and how the PCC plans to meet them.

The Plan also has a requirement to set out the objectives and priorities of the work and activity for Hertfordshire Constabulary and the Chief Constable for the coming years, and how the PCC will hold the Chief Constable to account in delivering on these objectives.

The new Plan will draw on a wide range of information to ensure that it reflects the policing, crime, community safety and criminal justice issues which are affecting Hertfordshire and listening to the opinions of Hertfordshire residents and communities is a key part of the Plan's development. It is important that all our communities and partners have their say, and this includes the views of women and girls, victims of crime and businesses.
