In line with the ambitions outlined in the Commissioner’s Community Safety & Criminal Justice Plan, a new commissioning-based approach called Commissioning-lite is now in place to ensure that funding is targeted around thematic areas and delivers on the required outcomes.
The Commissioner’s three initial priority themes of Serious Violence, Antisocial Behaviour & Violence Against Women & Girls are being scoped in consultation with district/borough and county council colleagues. As a result, the Commissioner will be requesting proposals to deliver on specific priorities throughout 2023.
The Commissioner has already considered proposals submitted within the priority themes and details of grants awarded so far in 2023 can be found at the bottom of this page.
