Partners
The PCC works with a number of partnerships to join up service delivery to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency for the public. Amongst the most significant are police collaboration agreements.
A number of police services are delivered through a collaboration with Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire police forces and PCCs, there is also a 7 force collaboration with the eastern region forces (including Kent) and a number of national or other arrangements that are function specific.

Hertfordshire County Council
Hertfordshire County Council improve the health, wellbeing and safety of Hertfordshire’s residents.
Working with partners, they aim to support, care for and protect vulnerable adults and children, and improve the safety and security of Hertfordshire’s neighbourhoods and residents.
County Community Safety Unit
The Community Safety Unit (CCSU) sees police, fire, probation, trading standards and county council staff co-located at council premises where they work together to tackle domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour, alcohol and drug abuse.

Vital partners in improving the safety of Hertfordshire’s communities and providers of a range of local services.
Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs)are made up of representatives from the responsible authorities.
These include: police; local authority, fire and rescue authorities; probation services and health.
These partners work together to protect their local communities from crime and help people feel safer.
They discuss how to deal with issues such as antisocial behaviour, substance misuse and reoffending.
They annually discuss local crime priorities and consult partners and the local community about how to deal with them.

Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service Hertfordshire
This service is responsible for the administration of the criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales.
Hertfordshire Probation Service
Works to reduce re-offending and protect the public in order to create a safer Hertfordshire and fewer victims of crime.
The Prison Service (HMP The Mount)
The Mount is the only prison in Hertfordshire.
It is a closed prison for adult men.
It is situated near Bovingdon village and houses some prisoners from outside Hertfordshire.
Crown Prosecution Service
The Crown Prosecution Service is the principal prosecution authority in England and Wales, and is responsible for advising the police on cases for possible prosecution, reviewing cases the police have submitted, determining any charges in more serious or complex cases, preparing cases for court, and presenting cases at court.
Hertfordshire Criminal Justice Board
Local Criminal Justice Boards were introduced by the government in 2003 to improve the delivery of justice, secure better outcomes for victims and witnesses, and increase public confidence in the system.
Hertfordshire Criminal Justice Board (HCJB) is a partnership of agencies working achieve to these aims.
We want to create the best environment for victims and witnesses, whether that is improving opportunities for reporting crime, for providing support or making sure the court process is effective at holding offenders to account.
Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre
The Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre (ECRC) is a policing-led, not for profit, membership organisation that is a part of a national network of centres, established by the Home Office to help small and medium organisations tackle the rising threat of cyber-attacks.
Working alongside partners in the private cyber sector, academia and the police, the centre is uniquely placed in its ability to reach out to businesses, schools and charities and help them to become more secure in the online space.
The ECRC operate across Kent, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire.
Hertfordshire Youth Connexions
Youth Connexions provides youth work, information and advice, guidance and support for young people aged 13 and 19 (up to 25 years for those with learning disabilities).
It also provides support for young people leaving home, up to the age of 21, through the Youth Connexions one stop shop.
Community Development Agency (CDA) for Hertfordshire
CDA coordinate the Safer Future Communities Network for Hertfordshire and have links to various voluntary and community groups in the county.
They offer a range of advice and services.

Hertfordshire Domestic Violence Information

Hertfordshire Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (HACRO)
HACRO aims to encourage informed opinion relating to crime, be a source of support to those working with offenders in all settings, be alive to current issues of public concern and work work with offenders to prevent re-offending.

The Herts Women's Centre
The Herts Women's Centre is a registered Charity established since 1995 in Shephall Stevenage.
They are also the Rape Crisis Centre for Stevenage.
They offer a range of support services to women which include: Low cost counselling, one to one support, emotional and practical support for survivors of Domestic Abuse, employment support and a range of courses to enhance skills and wellbeing of women.
Hertfordshire Beacon
Beacon victim care centre offers support to every person who reports a crime in the county. Plus those that contact them even if they have not reported their crime to the police.
They offer free and confidential advice to any Hertfordshire resident.
