I am committed to being open and transparent.
As the PCC's office is a publicly-funded organisation, I have a duty to be transparent in my business operations and outcomes to demonstrate I am delivering value for money to you, the tax payers.
I am fully compliant with the Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) Order 2011 which sets out the information all Police and Crime Commissioners must make public.

When I was declared as the first Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner I swore an oath of impartiality.
The swearing of an oath is important because it shows both that I am committed to serve all the people of Hertfordshire, not a political party or any one section of their electorate.
I, David Edward Lloyd, of Flamstead, St Albans, do hereby declare that I accept the office of Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire.
In making this declaration, I solemnly and sincerely promise that during my term of office:
As Commissioner, I have committed to serving all the people of Hertfordshire and have sworn an oath of impartiality.
With my focus on increasing community safety, I will be working to counter unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimization.
I will work to give everyone equal access to the police and criminal justice system regardless of background or ability.
I will also maintain and develop good relations between the Police and Hertfordshire’s many varied communities and hold the Constabulary to account for delivering against its own commitments to equality.
I am fully committed to the aims of the Equalities Act of 2010 which provides protection so that people do not face discrimination based on age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership and pregnancy and maternity.
I will hold the Chief Constable to account for the exercise of his duties under the act.
I set out specific objectives in my Police and Crime Plan.
